Video: Vintage Trouble with Paul Stanley “You Shook Me”

KISS frontman joins soul rockers for an intimate performance of the blues classic

The quality of the video may be a little rough around the edges as is the refinement of the actual performance. But there’s no mistaking the quality of the talent assembled onstage in this clip of KISS frontman Paul Stanley guesting on a performance of the blues classic “You Shook Me.”

Paul and his KISS bandmate/business partner have been busy as usual, touring the world this summer and launching their latest exterior business venture, The LA KISS, a minor league professional football team that plays in the AFL.

In this clip from January of 2012, it was the longtime KISS singer/guitarist’s 60th birthday and GSTV’s former Artist Showcase winners Vintage Trouble were booked as the entertainment at a surprise party for Paul. He joined the band for a swaggering blues rock take on this classic, made famous by Led Zeppelin on their self-titled debut album.

It’s of course been a great year for Vintage Trouble. Among other things, they’ve toured with The Who and opened for The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park in London.

This video features some great backup vocals from VT frontman Ty Taylor and amazing lead guitar from Nalle Colt.
