Fleetwood Mac singer joins Ex-Nirvana man for haunting performance of “Landslide” at SXSW in Austin

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has been busy of late, promoting his acclaimed documentary Sound City, about a legendary recording studio located deep in the San Fernando Valley.
After taking the Sundance Film Festival by storm the former Nirvana drummer headed to SXSW in Austin this week with the Sound City Players – an all star jam band that includes the likes of John Fogerty, Rick Springfield and Stevie Nicks. Grohl delivered the keynote speech at this year’s festival and a few hours later took to the stage for what he announced would be the last performance by the group.
Here’s one of the highlights of that performance – a haunting version of “Landslide” with Nicks demonstrating she’s still got the raspy emotive pipes that defined the Fleetwood Mac sound and Grohl providing simple accompaniment on acoustic guitar.
