The Israeli-born NYC resident is a tasteful virtuoso who is receiving growing acclaim in jazz circles. He brings fresh energy to jazz-rock fusion, with strong grooves and a powerful sound.
Noy started playing guitar in Israel at age 13 and by 24 was one of the top session players in the country. He moved to NYC in 1996, where he drew the attention of top-notch players like drummers Anton Fig and Vinnie Colaiuta, bassist Will Lee and keyboardist Jim Beard, who have appeared with him on his solo albums and at gigs around town.
Noy has also worked with some major recording artists, including Harry Bellefonte, Toni Braxton, Phoebe Snow and Gavin Degraw. Noy’s played on numerous commercials, movies, and TV soundtracks for cable channels such as HBO and VH1.
