The Beatles “Words of Love” – Video

Fab four drop new video for Buddy Holly cover off their latest release On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2

The Beatles and Apple Corps Ltd. have released a new music video for “Words of Love,” a Buddy Holly cover that’s among the tracks included on the band’s latest album On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2.

The charming video blends vintage footage of the band from the early Sixties with cool animations, putting a new visual spin on Beatles nostalgia.

This version of “Words of Love” was recorded by the Beatles on July 16, 1963 in London at the BBC Paris Theatre. The band recorded the song again and it was included on both 1964′s Beatles for Sale and 1965′s Beatles VI.

On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2 features the band doing BBC studio versions of many of the covers they were doing in their early days at the cavern as well as refreshing alternate versions of classics like “Ticket to Ride” and “The Hippy Hippy Shake.” The album is available at Amazon and fine music retailers everywhere.
