Guitar Shop TV stopped by the Taylor Guitars booth at NAMM 2011 in Anaheim, CA to chat with Andy Lund about new entries and innovations in their world-famous lines of acoustic guitars. In this clip Andy shows us one of the classic and exquisite Taylor Presentation Series guitars, which features some changes from last year’s models including a stunning new inlay.
Taylor Guitars was founded in 1974 by then up-and-coming luthier Bob Taylor and his business partner Kurt Listug in El Cajon, CA, where it still has its headquarters. More than 35 years later the company has become a household name (in guitar-loving households, anyway) and is known for making some of the finest acoustic guitars in the world. All Taylor guitars feature ebony fretboards and their patented bolt-on necks, and the higher end models offer a selection of beautiful woods from around the world. Taylor devotees include Hall & Oates, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, Neil Young, Zac Brown, the Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel, and, of course, Taylor Swift! Head to their website for even more info and photos of their stunning guitars.
