Led Zeppelin will Release Concert Film Next Month

Led Zeppelin reunion? Well not quite. However it was announced today that the legendary British rock gods will be releasing a concert film of the one-off reunion show they did perform back in 2007.

 

The film, which is set to be titled Celebration Day, captures the band’s set from a tribute concert for Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun that took place at the O2 Arena in London five years ago.

Led Zeppelin III Cover Artist Dies

It was revealed today in a report in the online addition of Classic Rock Magazine that the artist Zacron, who is best known for having designed the sleeve for Led Zeppelin III, has died at the age of 69. Zacron, whose real name was Richard Drew, actually passed away in January. However the artist was estranged from his family so the news of his passing has only just surfaced.

Brent Ware, a private collector based in Nashville, describes his huge collection of vintage amplifiers and guitars as “forty-five years of complete insanity.” Ware’s collection includes over 300 amps and a couple hundred guitars.
