Fender Unveils Tim Armstrong Deluxe Acoustic

Bon Iver, Whiskey, and Charity? Yes Please

Love guitars, Bon Iver, whiskey and charity? So do we. This beautiful guitar pictured above, known simply as “The 1608″ was designed by Justin Vernon of Bon Iver fame.
Perhaps even better, the guitar was crafted almost entirely with white oak wood from authentic Bushmills Whiskey Barrels. But what really ties this beautiful instrument together are the bottle cap control knobs.

Collector’s Corner: Rickenbacker “Lightshow” Model 331LS
GSTV visits Guitar Center in L.A. to get our hands on the Rickenbacker Model 331LS

GSTV meets with The Guitar Center in Los Angeles to check out the Rickenbacker Model 331LS “Lightshow.” It was introduced in 1970 and remained in production until 1975. This may have been unfortunate timing for Rickenbacker since the Psychedelic era had come to an end during that poeriod. If the instrument was introduced in the height of Psychedelia, say, 1966, it likely would have sold many more units.
