Fender dusts off a pair of “forgotten” classics
Long lost Fender models the Coronado and the Starcaster have suddenly resurfaced on the guitar makers website. Both models are known for iconic design and configurations that are somewhat unconventional by Fender’s standards.
The Coronado, for its part, was first unveiled in the mid-Sixties and became associated with players like Dave Davies of the Kinks and even Elvis Presley, both of whom were assumedly drawn to the guitar because of its cool looks.
