4 Amigos Guitar Shows gears up for SoCAL World Guitar Show in Glendale

The “Texas 4 Amigos,” a group of guys who’ve been producing great guitar shows across the country for years, are getting ready to launch the 2013 SoCAL World Guitar Show July 13-14.

The 4 Amigos group was created by Larry Briggs, who first began producing guitar shows back in 1984. Since then Briggs has been involved in every major guitar show in the country and also owns Strings West of Tulsa, an internationally-known vintage guitar and amplifier company.

This year’s SoCAL show will take place at the Glendale Civic Auditorium, just outside of L.A.

The SoCAL show is billed as a buy-sell-trade affair that will feature “players, stars, retail stores, vintage dealers, foreign buyers, authors, builders, manufacturers, and collectors.” And of course there will be an enormous number of vintage and rare guitars on show, in addition to amps, effects pedals, and other stringed instruments like banjos and mandolins.

Admission for the show is just $20 with kids under 11 admitted free when accompanied by an adult. For more information, including how to register and set up your own booth, visit the SoCAL World Guitar Show online.
