The Red Rocker is putting the band back together and hitting the road this summer

By Alex Baker

Sammy Hagar will be hitting the road this summer as he prepares to launch the “Four Decades of Rock” tour. The former Van Halen frontman will be reuniting with Chickenfoot bassist and fellow ex-Van Halen member Michael Anthony, as well as his ex-Montrose bandmates, Denny Carmasi and Bill Church.

Audiences attending this summer’s tour will be treated to a cross section of songs, spanning Hagar’s entire four decades in the rock and roll business.

Hagar has had a long, illustrious career that’s seen him doing time in Montrose, Van Halen, and Chickenfoot. He’s also had a successful solo career that’s generated hits such as “I Can’t Drive 55.”
