Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare

Shock rocker Rob Zombie launches rocking Halloween haunt at Pomona fairground outside L.A.

White Zombie frontman Rob Zombie has joined his fellow shock-rocker Alice Cooper in launching his own Halloween experience. “Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare” kicked off on October 10 and will run weekly, Thursday through Sunday, until November 2 at the Pomona FEARplex (Fairplex), just outside of Los Angeles.

This frightening fairground attraction consists of three haunted houses that feature “the most advanced haunted house technology,” and are “NOT for young children,” according to the information provided on the website.

In addition to the haunted houses, there will also be nightly bands including Andrew W.K, The Used, Goldfinger, Eagles of Death Metal, and of course Rob Zombie himself.

Other attractions at the Great American Nightmare will include food trucks, beer wine and spirits, and car shows. Sounds like just the right combination of fun, scary and cool!
