Retro-inspired Tom Cat Model combines simplicity with quirky styling
The new retro-inspired PureSalem “Tom Cat” is a new model from the Miami-based guitar maker that employs a simplistic design utilizing classic guitar elements like wood, wire and strings.
Recently Christian Bland of the the Black Angels played a PureSalem Tom Cat on the band’s European tour.
PureSalem is a lefty-owned company and the Tom Cat is available in righty and lefty models at no additional markup. The idea behind PureSalem guitars is definitely one we can get behind; to provide simple rock and roll machines at prices the average working man can afford.
According to the PureSalem website, “It‘s simplicity in design. It’s wood wire, and strings. It’s rock and roll, and not rocket science.”
The Tom Cat retails for $735 and is available directly through the PureSalem guitars website.
