New Year’s Eve: Vintage Trouble at the Roxy in LA

Rock-soul sensations cap off a breakout year with a NYE gig at the legendary Roxy on the Sunset Strip

At GSTV we’ve always got our ear to the ground for the hottest emerging bands. One of the best we’ve heard in a long while is Los Angeles’ own Vintage Trouble.

It’s been less than two years ago since we first filmed this explosive four-piece combo at a tiny club in Santa Monica. Since then the band’s incendiary blend of hard rock and classic soul has propelled them into big time.

But while VT have built a huge following in the UKAmerican audiences are likely most familiar with them from the Supercuts commercial they appeared in last year. That’s changing rapidly however, as the band is currently on tour as the opening act for The Who’s Quadrophenia Tour and recently appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman.

If you’re looking for THE cant-miss musical event in L.A. this NYE, you should catch Vintage Trouble at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip.

“It’s been a long year as we’ve been all over the world,” said VT drummer Richard Danielson, speaking exclusively to GSTV. “So to end it in the throes of our hometown crowd will be something very special for us. It is surely going to be one of the hottest and sexiest parties in town just based on the community that surrounds us.”

Considering they’ve gone from playing small clubs to opening for The Who in less than two years, this may be your last chance to catch Vintage Trouble in anything less than a sold-out arena tour.
