While it might be tempting to paint Love and a .38 as just a band of hair-band revivalists, the Hollywood rockers are much more than that. Sure theses guys have got a great image that could be read as a modern update of the old Sunset Strip glam look. But they’ve also got talent to back it up. This four piece hard rock band has a sound that’s both familiar and fresh, with crunching classic rock guitars and growling hard rock/metal vocals courtesy of Ryan Hudson. Known as one of the hardest rocking and hardest working bands in L.A. at the moment, Love and a .38 have been named as one of “Hot 100 Bands of the Year” by Music Connection Magazine. Already they’ve opened shows for hard rock luminaries such as Slash, Motley Crue, Tom Morello and Black Veil Brides. With the look, the sound, the image, and the songs to boot, Love and a .38 could be poised for big things. Check out the official video for “Rock ‘n Lola” and remember, you heard them first on GSTV.
