Video: John Fogerty and Billy Gibbons – “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Born on the Bayou”

Currently in the midst of a fall tour that kicked off on Oct. 10 at the Nokia in L.A., John Fogerty was joined onstage by ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons last Thursday at a gig in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The pair of legendary rockers treated audiences to a scorching rendition of ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” that saw the duo trading vocal lines while Gibbons blazed incendiary leads on his candy apple red Fender Telecaster.

The two then launched into a version of the Creedence classic “Born on the Bayou,” featuring Fogerty on his P-90 equipped goldtop Gibson¬† Les Paul trading guitar licks with Gibbons.

“Twuz killer diller,” remarked Gibbons, speaking backstage afterwards. “John & Co. certainly were on top of the game and the bonus of participation is quite the reward.”

John Fogerty will continue touring through November 14.
