Beatles original 12 UK studio albums plus Past Masters now available in glorious remastered vinyl box
By Alex Baker
Having not had their original 12 UK studio albums along with Magical Mystery Tour and the two Past Masters collections remastered since 1987, the Fabs catalog finally got a much-needed digital facelift a couple years back. However then, the newly-remastered albums were only made available on CD and as digital downloads.
Now for the first time the Beatles’ remastered original catalog has been made available on vinyl, both as individual albums and in a comprehensive box set.
The remastered Beatle albums, all originally released between 1963 and 1970, have been pressed on DJ-quality 180-gram vinyl and packaged in a box set that includes replicas of original artwork, such as the poster from the White Album and the cutouts that originally accompanied Sgt. Peppers.
The set also includes a 252-page hardbound book, with chapters dedicated to each album and accompanying images.
If you want to give someone (or yourself) an experience that’s about as close as it gets to hearing the Beatles for the first time, as they were originally meant to be heard; on glorious stereo vinyl with all the tactile and visual extras that CDs or digital downloads could never provide, you simply must check out the Beatles Stereo Vinyl Box Set.
