L.A. rockers Guns N’ Roses look to be the latest act to have jumped on the 3D bandwagon, with the band having just announced that they’ll be releasing a 3D concert film later this year.
The live concert film will chronicle one of the shows from their November Appetite for Democracy residency at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas last year. The film, which is being produced by Barry Summers, will be GNR’s first live film in 20 years.
The band have stated that the as-of-yet-untitled film will be released in theaters, TV, and on DVD. While no release date has yet been announced, GNR have released this clip (in 2D) of a performance of “Paradise City” from the November 21st concert that will form the basis for the film.
