Gibson Unveils Brendon Small Snow Falcon V

Gibson releases beautiful signature model for Metalocalypse creator

It’s not everyday we get this excited over a new Gibson signature model named for a fictional character on an animated TV show. In fact we’re pretty sure this is the first time we’ve ever heard of such an instrument.

Cue the strikingly beautiful, all-white Gibson Snow Falcon Flying V, created for Brendon Small, creator of Metalocalypse, the long-running Adult Swim animated show about fictional metal band, Dethlok.
In addition to writing the show and voicing several of the characters, Small is a Berklee graduate who writes, records and performs all the music for Dethlok.

The Snow Falcon also happens to be the new signature guitar of Dethlok lead guitarist, Toki Wartooth.

But don’t let the fact that it’s the signature axe of a cartoon character sway you. The Snow Falcon V is no joke! It’s most striking feature is obviously it’s all-white “snow-burst” finish that even extends to its laminated white polymer coated fingerboard.

But beneath that pristine white finish, you’ll find a pair of BurstBucker humbucking pickups with push/pull coil splitting capability. The body is crafted from solid mahogany, providing the Snow Falcon with superb resonance and sustain.
