Fleetwood Mac will be burying the collective hatchet, dusting off the billowy sleeves, vests and flowing skirts, and hitting the road this spring. The band possess a virtual treasure trove of mega hit, classic rock and roll songs, and they’ll be putting them through the paces on a nine-week road jaunt that commences on April 4 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.
The band, which will include key Rumors -era members Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie, and Mick Fleetwood, are commencing with rehearsals for the tour on February 15. As of now, there’s no indication they’ll be joined by Christine McVie, who retired in 1998.
After completing the U.S. segment of the tour, the band plan on extending it other destinations including Europe and Australia. A tour of the UK is already on the books for the fall. The upcoming tour will be the band’s first since 2009. Check out this great close-up clip of the band performing “You Can Go Your Own Way,” from the last time out.
