Black Crowes and Tedeschi Trucks Band Announce Summer Tour

Black Crowes will co-headline tour with Tedeschi Trucks Band this summer

The Black Crowes have announced a summer tour on which they will co-headline with the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The short tour of outdoor venues will kick off in Nashville, TN on July 19 and conclude in Rochester, NY on August 15. The London Souls are signed on as opening act.


After a two-year hiatus from the road, the Crowes are currently in the midst of their “Lay Down with Number 13″ tour. They have also just released Wiser for the Time, a four-sided vinyl collection of live tracks that’s been issued on their own Silver Arrow record label.


The 11-piece Tedeschi Trucks Band, led by Allman Brothers guitarist Derek Truck and his wife Susan Tedesch, are also in the midst of a spring tour. Formed in 2010, the group’s debut album, Revelator recently won a Grammy Award for Best Blues Album.
