Another store across the Bay on Haight Street soon followed and then in 2001 the independent record store chain expanded southwards, opening their massive Hollywood store. Stepping into Amoeba Hollywood is like entering a temple for music fans. The store is the size of a small airplane hangar and is covered from floor to ceiling in rock posters and other paraphernalia.
