Half Drawn

Half Drawn is Reading, PA rock outfit that has a knack for writing and delivering riff-laden, alt rock proto-anthems a la Weezer. The band also possesses an appealing unwillingness to take themselves too seriously, which coupled with their catchy yet biting sound would seem to render them a readymade find for alternative/indie rock radio. Half Drawn is comprised of vocalist Nick Schwenk, guitarist Robert Tyrrell, bassist Javier Pedraza and drummer Jayme Hinnershitz. Catch the boys in action in this video clip for “Ascension.”

RARE Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones Bootleg Track: “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong (With That)” (a.k.a. “My Little One”)

Jimi Hendrix of the Experience and Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones connected at the Monterey Pop Festival in June of 1967.  Sadly, Jones died in 1969 and Hendrix in 1970, both at age 27.
