GSTV Featured Artists:Kenny Wayne Shepherd Jams with Mike Huckabee!


Guitar Shop TV recently sat down with blues/rock sensation Kenny Wayne Shepard to discuss new signature Fender Stratocaster at NAMM 2012. Great Venues: Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge – Nashville

The walls of Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge are layered with yellowed customer snapshots that are God-only-knows how old. Needless to say, Tootsie’s doesn’t have the glitz of some of the newer honky-tonks, and that’s precisely why it’s so great. Purchased in 1960 by a Tennessee native named Tootsie Bess, the establishment (which backs up to the Ryman Auditorium on Lower Broadway) was originally named “Mom’s,” but was renamed after the façade was painted an “orchid” color.

Gear Profile: Taylor Acoustics


Guitar Shop TV met with Taylor Guitars at NAMM to check out their redesigned rosewood bodied 700 series to a vintage Americana style with a standard Englemann top and venetian cutaway. In addition to the new look, guitars in the 300 series and above are now also available in a nylon string model.
