Guitar signed by Alice Cooper taken to Mt. Everest Summit for charity fundraising

Todd Pendleton has already raised $20,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and is now just $5,000 off from his goal of $25,000.
“It’s hard to put into words how difficult the journey was,” said the firefighter, speaking about hauling the signed axe up to the top of the world’s highest peak. “Death was palpable every time we put our crampons on. You had to focus on what you were doing, not what could happen, but it was always in the back of your mind. I haven’t been able to put into words what happened on summit day but it tested my soul. It was terrifying and beautiful.”
Todd plans to auction the guitar off and put the proceeds towards reaching his fundraising goal.
